Terms and Conditions of Training
In consideration of my application for entry to the Training Aid Australia Course being accepted I acknowledge and agree that:
1. “Training Aid Australia” (TAA)
for the purposes of this application and declaration means and includes TAA Pty Ltd, its respective directors, officers, members, servants or agents.
2. On course acceptance
If accepted I will be permitted to participate in the TAA Course subject to my complying with the terms and conditions of the TAA Course, this declaration, the TAA Administrative Procedures (to the extent relevant) and any reasonable direction issued by the TAA Course organisers or their representatives.
3. This document can be amended
TAA may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting the modified agreement on the Site.
4. Participation in the TAA Course can be inherently dangerous
Serious accidents may happen which may result in me being injured or even killed. I have voluntarily read and understood this warning and accept and assume the inherent risks in the TAA Course.
5. Exclusion of liability
Except where provided or required by law and such cannot be excluded, I agree that it is a term of my entry in the TAA Course (if accepted) that TAA is absolved from all liability however arising from injury or damage however caused (whether fatal or otherwise) arising out of my participation in the TAA Course. I acknowledge that the services and benefits I receive in relation to the TAA Courseare "recreational services" as defined under the Trade Practices Act 1974. Where I am a consumer, as defined by any relevant law, certain terms and rights may be implied into a contract for the supply of goods or services for my benefit. I acknowledge that these terms and rights, and any liability of TAA flowing from them, are expressly excluded, restricted or modified by these TAA Course terms and conditions.
6. Insurance
Insurance is in place that provides limited cover to me whilst I am participating in the TAA course. I understand that this insurance may not cover me for any injury, loss or damage sustained by me and I can, in my own interests, seek and obtain personal insurances over and above the cover provided by TAA.
7. This declaration constitutes a contract
Between myself and TAA.
8. Release and Indemnity
In consideration of TAA accepting my application for entry to the TAA Course, I:
(a) release and forever discharge TAA from all Claims that I may have or may have had but for this release arising from or in connection with my participation in the TAA Course; and
(b) indemnify and hold harmless TAA to the extent permitted by law in respect of any Claim by any person including by not only another participant in the TAA Course arising as a result of or in connection with my participation in the TAA Course.
In this clause 8 "Claims" means and includes any action, suit, proceeding, claim, demand, damage, penalty, cost or expense however arising but does not include a claim in respect of any action, suit, etc made by any person entitled to make a claim under a relevant Training Aid Australia insurance policy.
9. Fitness to participate
I declare that I am and must continue to be medically and physically fit and able to participate in the TAA Course. I am not and must not be a danger to myself or to the health and safety of others. I will immediately notify TAA in writing of any change to my fitness and ability to participate. I understand and accept that TAA will continue to rely upon this declaration as evidence of my fitness and ability to participate.
10. Medical treatment
I consent to receiving any medical treatment that the TAA Course organisers or their authorised representatives consider necessary or desirable during or after the TAA Course. I also agree to reimburse TAA for any costs or expenses incurred in providing me with medical treatment.
11. Privacy
I understand that the information I have provided is necessary for the conduct of the TAA Course and for the objects of TAA. I acknowledge and agree that the information will only be used by TAA to facilitate the conduct of the TAA Course and other courses conducted by TAA. I will be able to access my information through TAA. If the information is not provided my application may be rejected. I acknowledge that if I do not wish to receive promotional material from TAA sponsors and third parties I must advise TAA in writing.
12. Copyright in photographs and right to use
I acknowledge and consent to photographs being taken of me during my participation in the TAA Course. I acknowledge that the photographs are owned by TAA and that TAA may use the photographs for promotional or other purposes without my further consent being obtained. Further, I consent to the TAA Course organisers using my name, image, likeness and also my performance in the TAA Course, at any time, to promote the TAA Course by any form of media.
13. Information you have supplied is correct
I warrant that all information provided on the Course Enrolment Form is true and correct.
14. Transfer/Refund Policy
If you are late to a training session TAA reserves the right to refuse entry to a Course. TAA will assist in re-booking a training session, however additional fees apply. For full policy, see Transfer and Refund Policy.
15. Course Price
Training Aid Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to change course price at any time without notice and such change shall be effective immediately upon posting the new price on the Site.
16. Unique Students Identifier (USI)
Under Commonwealth Legislation and a condition of registration, every Registered Training Organisation must collect and verify students USIs before issuing qualifications or statements of attainment for any nationally recognised training to be undertaken.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions you give TAA a permission to locate your USI using a USI Register if USI is not provided to TAA at the time of enrolment. If you do not consent to TAA locating your USI, TAA must be notified in wring by sending an email to admin@trainingaid.edu.au. Please note, that in this case you will not be issued with nationally recognised statement of attainment/qualification and your training will not be recorded in National USI Register.

Training Aid Australia collects student information as part of the National VET Regulator Standards for RTO's. Some information must be reported to the National VET Regulator for statistical use. The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) is the National Vet Regulator (NVR) for Registered Training Organisation’s (RTO) and manages the compliance of all NSW RTO’s. Upon audit, the RTO must be able to supply evidence of all students if required, including attendance sheets, evidence of assessment and competency outcomes.
Training Aid Australia also collects personal information because it helps us deliver a superior level of customer service. Your personal information helps us keep you posted on the latest announcements from industry bodies, inform you of when your certificate is due to expire, special offers on courses and products, and new courses that we are delivering.
Training Aid Australia collects course feedback and information for market research purposes (such as target markets and course delivery quality) to gain a better understanding of our customers and thus provide more valuable service.
"Cookies" will collect anonymous data (which is not personal information) relating to your activity on our websites (including IP addresses).
Training Aid Australia does not share personal information with third parties and offers all persons the option to unsubscribe from any marketing emails sent.

Refund and Cancellations
General Information
- You are limited to rescheduling your appointment a maximum of two times. If you have already twice, an additional rescheduling will incur the full fee.
- Once a rescheduling has been made, requesting a refund will no longer be possible.
- In the event of a class cancellation by Training Aid Australia, participants will be provided with a choice of rescheduling for a different date or receiving a complete refund of the course fee paid. Additional expenses incurred by the participant will not be reimbursed.
- To request a refund, participants must exclusively utilise the email address admin@trainingaid.com.au or the designated refund request form.
- Refund requests cannot be submitted via telephone.
- Upon approval of a refund, the funds will be reimbursed to the original payment account.
- Typically, it takes approximately 1-2 weeks for the refund funds to be credited to the original payment account.
- In cases where students are unable to attend the course due to late arrival, insufficient ID (applies only to white card Sydney), or inadequate English language proficiency (applies to all NSW and VIC courses), a partial refund is available. Specific details regarding the partial refund can be found below.
- For online courses or correspondence courses, once enrolment has been completed and access to course materials has been granted, no refunds, transfers, or cancellations will be granted. However, this policy does not apply to virtual classes conducted via Zoom.
- If a student fails to successfully complete all assessments satisfactorily, they will be required to rebook the course at a training cost only, excluding government fees.
- Only individuals who have not previously taken RSA/RCG NSW courses or whose RSA/RCG NSW competency card expired more than 28 days ago are eligible to attend RSA/RCG NSW courses. If a student violates this course entry condition and attends the class, they will not be eligible for a refund.
Cancellation Fees Public Courses
- Cancellation or rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours prior to the course start time will be eligible for a full refund, with a $10.00 administrative processing fee deducted.
- Cancellation or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the course start time will be eligible for a 50% refund of the course cost.
- Requests for a refund after the course start date will not be accepted.
- In the case of non-attendance, no refund or rebooking will be provided.
- In the event of late arrival, a 50% refund of the course cost will be granted.
- If a participant has an insufficient level of English or fails to provide the required identification (applies to courses requiring 100 points ID), a 50% refund of the course cost will be provided.
- Breaching the RSA/RCG NSW course entry conditions will result in no refund being issued.
Rescheduling Fees Public Courses
- If the request to reschedule is made more than 24 hours before the class start time, it can be done for free. However, if the request is made less than 24 hours before the course start time, a rescheduling fee of 25% of the course cost will apply.
- Rescheduling will not be permitted once the class has started.
- In case of late arrival or insufficient ID on the course date (for courses that require 100 points ID), a rescheduling fee of 25% of the course cost will be charged.
- Similarly, if a white card is not provided on the day of the course (for courses that require it), a rescheduling fee of 25% of the course cost will be imposed.
- If there is no attendance at the course, the full course fee must be paid in order to reschedule.

NCVER Privacy Statement
CONSENT TO USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Data Provision Requirements) Instrument 2020, Training Aid Australia Pty Ltd, is required to collect personal information (information or an opinion about me), collected from me, my parent or guardian, such as my name, Unique Student Identifier, date of birth, contact details, training outcomes and performance, sensitive personal information (including my ethnicity or health information) and other enrolment and training activity-related information (together Personal Information) and disclose that Personal Information to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Ltd (NCVER).
My Personal Information (including the personal information contained on my enrolment form and my training activity data) may be used or disclosed by Training Aid Australia Pty Ltd, for statistical, regulatory and research purposes. Training Aid Australia Pty Ltd, may disclose my personal information for these purposes to third parties, including:
• School – if I am a secondary student undertaking VET, including a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship;
• Employer – if I am enrolled in training paid by my employer;
• Commonwealth and State or Territory government departments and authorised agencies;
• NCVER;
• Organisations (including government departments) conducting student surveys; and
• Researchers.
Personal Information disclosed to NCVER may be used or disclosed for the following purposes:
• issuing a VET Statement of Attainment or VET Qualification, and populating Authenticated VET Transcripts;
• facilitating statistics and research relating to education, including surveys;
• understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information; and
• administering VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation.
I may receive an NCVER student survey which may be administered by an NCVER employee, agent or third party contractor. I may opt out of the survey at the time of being contacted.
NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose my Personal Information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the VET Data Policy and all NCVER policies and protocols (including those published on NCVER’s website www.ncver.edu.au).
The Department may disclose my Personal Information to other Australian government agencies, including those located in States and Territories outside my residential state.
The above government agencies may use my Personal Information for any purpose relating to the exercise of their government functions, including but not limited to the evaluation and assessment of my training, the determination of my eligibility to receive subsidised training or for any Fee Exemptions or Concessions. My Personal Information may also be disclosed to other third parties if required by law.
I also acknowledge and agree that the Department may contact me by telephone, email or post, during or after I have ceased subsidised training with Training Aid Australia Pty Ltd, for the purposes of evaluating and assessing my subsidised training.
I declare that the information I have provided to the best of my knowledge is true and correct.
I consent to the collection, use and disclosure of my Personal Information in the manner outlined above.
