STUDENT PERMIT

According to the Victorian State rules, students are required to have a permit to travel to the study location.

Section 3 of the How to Issue a Worker Permit of the State Government of Victoria website states that 'An employee may travel to work without a worker permit once to get their first permit'

Please use this confirmation email as proof that you are booked in to do the training course.

On the day of the training, you'll be issued a permit.

YOUR QUALIFICATION WILL NO BE ISSUED or YOU WILL BE REFUSED ENTRY TO THE CLASS if you fail to meet the course requirements

REQUIREMENT 1: ONLINE PRE-STUDY

As part of this course, you are required to complete the theoretical online pre-study module PRIOR to attending the course.

In order to receive your certificate, you must successfully complete both the online pre-study and practical classroom session. 

STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT CAN NOT BE ISSUED if the online pre-study module is not completed.

REQUIREMENT 2: ATTENDANCE

Participants should arrive 15 min prior to the scheduled starting time to complete the necessary registration paperwork.

ENTRY TO THE CLASS WILL BE REFUSED if a participant arrives 15 min after the scheduled starting time.

REQUIREMENT 3: IDENTIFICATION

Participant MUST provide 1 (one) form of valid I.D. (e.g. Passport, Australian Driver's Licence, KeyPass/Proof of Age Card) for identification purposes.

STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED if a participant does not provide a valid form of I.D.

REQUIREMENT 4: USI

All participants must provide their USI.

You need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment.

STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED if a participant doesn't provide valid USI.

If you don't have a USI, please visit www.usi.gov.au to create one.

REQUIREMENT 5: BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE

The basic understanding of reading and writing English is required.

Use of interpreters and translators is NOT allowed.

Trainer reserves the right to refuse entry to the class based on the outcome of the Language, Literacy and Numeracy test which is available to all participants.
